~ First Day in SengKang Primary - Denver ~

6:10am - Alarm clock from mobile phone "Riiingggggg". Weather : Heavy RAIN! Gosh! The traffic is going to be bad for sure. Hubby and I quickly wash up and drove to my sil's place to pick the kids.

7:10am - Denver & his cousins are Ready for Day 1 and since they are studying in the same school, they will be going to school together from now on! Noise level is going to go up in hubby's car since they can really talk a lot!

Hubby sheltering all the children to his car 1 by 1...

7:25am - Reached SengKang Primary School. Since it was raining, all Primary 1 students were being directed to their classroom with their parents. I took Denver to his class and he settled down quickly. In no time, Denver was visibly seen chatting with his new found friends. The parents were either standing at the back or outside the classroom. Some were busy taking photos while others just waited.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay on till recess time at 930am. (Since I got to rush down to the wake). I merely watch him for 15mins, noted down Denver's Form Teacher's name, contact number and email address which she has already written on the white board. Made some general enquiries, bid Denver goodbye and I left the school quickly while the other parents stayed on.

Denver has so much to tell me when I reached my sil's place in the evening. "Mommy, there is a paper for you to sign". "Mommy, must bring my Homework file tomorrow". "Mommy, got papers for you to see.". "Mommy, I got save some money". etc Woooooo.. One at a time!!! Mommy is burn out after attended the full day event at the burial services....

Denver seems to be adapting well. (So far so good). His buddy has been helpful and here's what he reported. :p

1. Spent 90cents on Spaggetti. Saved 60cents and put in coin bank. (He already decided to eat kway tiao noodles tomorrow and said that Rice is slightly more costly.)
2. Submitted Books to form teacher
3. Submitted $10 to form teacher
4. Updated Mommy that Pupils Companion book to be available only on 11th Jan
5. Updated that he is able to go to the toilet himself
6. Got Mommy's signature on Expenses report
7. Gave Mommy General particular form to fill up
8. Last but not least.... Happy to be in school and got to know new friends
