~ Window Shopping ~

The initial intention was to go for the "Gifts & Electronics Fest @ Santa’s Village" at Suntec. Hubby read about the event on today's Straits Time. However, we did not check the dates and only to realise on our MRT ride down that it is only starting next week. :p (Hubby suddenly remember that APEC is still ongoing). hehehe. Here's the correct information and we won't be so blur next time.

Gifts & Electronics Fest @ Santa's Village
Friday November 20, 2009 - Sunday November 22, 2009 from 11:00am - 9:00pm
Suntec Singapore Hall 401-402
Admission is free

Anyway, since we are out, we decided to stop by Plaza Singapura to check on the exchange rates and shop around.. The only unfortunate thing that happened is I was being paged by alarmpoint on an emergency case! Hmmm.. I'm not sure why the page came to me since I'm not the Primary nor Secondary contact this week. Anyway, luckily one of my outsourcing colleague has picked the case and acknowledge the call. :) Shortly after this, I got another email on another emergency case. Hmmm.. "好"事成双?

I didn't get to see much in PS... We took a bus down to Millenium Walk as Hubby wants to check out the promotions at Harvey Norman. There is a Sale going on due to HN celebrating his 8 years anniversary. DJs from FM933 were there to host the event. :) We got to see 萧嘉蕙 and
丁志勇 close up on stage.

The children don't recognise them anyway and are only keen watching the 姐姐 who is sculpturing the balloons. :) Gladys got a purple flower and Denver got a green shotgun. Satisfaction were on their faces. Gladys also had her first Tattoo on her arm today - complimentary from Harvey Norman. :p

From Millenium Walk, we walked over to Suntec City and had the chance to go inside the Fountain of Wealth. The children enjoys walking around the mini fountain 3 rounds with their right hands touching the cooling water.

Spent the first half of the afternoon walking around window shopping. Gladys was finally getting tired and slept in my arms. She missed seeing the Big Christmas tree. Denver therefore had a chance to play with the camera again.

Since there is a loooong queue at the taxi stand at Suntec, we decided to walk over to Marina Square instead. Again, another long, detour walk to get to Marina due to APEC. We had our dinner at the food court before taking the cab ... home? Nope! To my bsil's place to pick our car and drive down to Hougang Mall to fetch my inlaws.

They will be going to China this coming Thursday and mil needs a pair of comfortable shoes. So, we went down to AMK.

Finally got home after HOURS of WALKING!!! Gosh.. my legs are sooooo tired.
