YES! Toy Story 3 Returns After 10 Years!

It was so many years ago when I first watched Toy Story (a 1995 production). It's about a group of toys coming to life when Andy (their owner) is away. The adventure begins when Woody (a pull-string cowboy) is jealous with Buzz Lightyear (a space ranger action figure) when Andy received it as a present on his birthday.

With the great success of Toy Story, it's sequel - Toy Story 2 was later released in 1999 with a new chapter. Andy prepares to go on to Summer camp wanted to bring Woody along but accidentally rips his arm and forcing him to leave Woody behind on a shelf. In the event of saving another toy Wheezy, Woody was stolen away by a Toy collector. Buzz together with the other toys started off another adventure to save their friend. Along the way, new characters like Jessie and Bullseye came into the story and I was most touched by Jessie's story where she was once owned and loved by a girl but was forgotten and given away eventually.

After 10 years of waiting.. Toy Story 3 is finally HERE! This time, Andy has grown up and going to college, leaving his toys troubled about their future. Denver has watched the first 2 sequels on DVDs many times and he loved it. When the movies were released, Denver & Gladys wasn't born to this world yet. :p I would love to take them to watch this in the movie theaters this time!

Each characters in Toy Story is very unique (e.g. Mr Potato Head, Slinky Dog, Rex, Emperor Zurg, Bo Peep, etc) but among all, I adore Woody and Buzz Lightyear most. Buzz is brave and courageous and wears a nice high-tech space suit. Not to forget his famous repeated phrase "To Infinity and Beyond!" We still have the Buzz Lightyear toys that we bought for Denver years ago. Still in pretty good shape. :p

Woody on the other hand is more emotional and warm compared to Buzz in my opinion. He is intelligent and always have tricks or ideas on how to save the other toys. Together, Woody and Buzz are great partners and without them in the story, the entire movie will not be the same. Voices by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen is fantastic and they bring the characters to life!

In Toy Story 3, there are many new characters. A couple of them looked really cute and I particulary like Peas-in-a-pod, Buttercup and Mr Pricklepants. Simply because they have a sweet smile, kind and friendly looking and special in its own way. Seems like the Good Toys in the movie. :)

We are so looking forward to Toy Story 3 and watching the trailer makes it even more interesting. Personally, I like the ending of the trailer most with the shocking and dramatic change in our dear Mr Potato Head! "You will not believe what I've been through tonight!" Oh Yes! I am very eager to know what has causes our Potato man to slim down like a cucumber. Hahahaha ^_^
